Jean-Baptiste has worked in the sport industry for the past 10 years across multiple positions which lead him to drive the innovation strategy within UEFA and set up the UEFA Innovation Hub. Among his responsibilities as chief strategy officer at LaSource, he is now in charge of supporting sports organisations and LaSource’s partners to define and implement innovation, business and investment strategies as well as strategic collaborations to drive value and access new business opportunities. He continues to closely follow start-ups, technology and trends in the sport world and provide LaSource’s start-ups with extensive knowledge and tailor made support. Finally, as part of LaSource’s activities, he works closely with rights holders (leagues, clubs, federations, etc.) on their digital, data and media rights strategy in a view of maximising business opportunities while best servicing the members of such organisations.

Chus Bueno is the Managing Director, Iberia for Legends International. He joined the company in October 2022, and oversees the development and implementation of Legends’ unique 360-degree platform of services in Spain.
Chus has more than 25 years of global experience in professional sports management and entertainment across all business disciplines. Before joining Legends, Chus held executive positions at the NBA for 12 years, most recently in the role of Vice President for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Prior to the NBA, he was the Managing Director of the Spanish Basketball Federation in Spain, organising the Eurobasket 2007 in Spain, as well as the Managing Director of SPAIN 2014 BID that Won the FIBA WC2014 in 2009.Chus started his professional career as a professional basketball player in Spain. After retiring as a player, he initated his executive endevour in 1995 running the Basketball Players Association in Spain and Europe for 10 years.

In January 2021, following nine years as CEO of World Rugby and Rugby World Cup Ltd, Brett joined the National Football League (NFL), the world’s most valuable sports property.
Based in London, Brett’s role at the NFL is to oversee the acceleration of fan growth and revenues across NFL core markets in Europe and Asia-Pacific. This involves strategic and operational management across marketing, sponsorship, broadcast, consumer products, as well as the staging of NFL regular season games in London and Germany, with related ticketing, hospitality, and event management. In 2022, Brett oversaw the first ever NFL regular season game in Germany at FC Bayern Munich’s Allianz stadium, as well as the hosting of a record five NFL regular season games in Europe in 2023. Brett was also a member of the NFL leadership team that partnered with the International Federation of American Football to secure the historic inclusion of Flag Football at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
Formerly, as Chief Executive of World Rugby and Rugby World Cup, Brett was responsible for the strategic and business operations of rugby’s global governing federation. Brett oversaw the implementation of World Rugby’s global investment, development and player welfare strategies, the delivery of record-breaking Men’s Rugby World Cups; 2015 in England and 2019 in Japan (the first Asian Rugby World Cup), delivery of Women’s Rugby World Cups France 2014 and Ireland 2017, the bidding process and related business model that led to the awarding of France 2023, the growth of the HSBC Men and Women’s World Rugby Sevens Series, the step change acceleration of women in rugby’s governance as well as rugby’s successful return to the Olympic Games in Rio 2016.

Simon spends a large part of his time in the sports industry and has provided due diligence and advisory services to a large number of investors entering the Spanish and European football and sports industries. He has also advised clients on post-acquisition investment strategies. Simon has helped found Deloitte’s pan-European Sports Business Group. He is also a season ticket holder at Liverpool FC!

Born in Segovia in 1989, he holds a degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, a Diploma in Physical Education from the European University of Madrid, and an Executive MBA from IEDE Business School.
He has worked in the fields of consulting, marketing, and business in the sports industry for companies such as SEG Sports, Gympass, BeOne, and the European University of Madrid.
He began his career at LaLiga in April 2017 as Executive Agent of the Presidency. In December 2017, he was promoted to Director of International Development, also adding Marketing and Business Management to his responsibilities in June 2020. From May 2021 to January 2024, he served as the Executive General Director of LaLiga.
Under his direction and leadership, international television rights revenues have tripled, and historic milestones have been achieved, such as LaLiga Impulso, the strategic project of LaLiga CVC Capital Partners; the two major joint ventures in North America and China; the television agreement in the United States with Disney/ESPN; the creation of LaLiga Tech’s technological subsidiary; and the expansion of the alliance with Microsoft.
Since January 2024, he has served as the General Director of Business and Operations (COO) at Club Atlético de Madrid. -

ACFC is one of the only majority female-founded and run professional sports teams in the world. Uhrman has also been named a member of Adweek’s 2021 and 2020 Most Powerful Women In Sports, one of the 100 Most Creative People in Business by Fast Company, and to the Creative 50 list by Advertising Age. Julie is active in the Los Angeles sports and technology communities scene.
